Unfortunately, with video marketing, your job as an internet marketer does not stop after your video gets posted on YouTube. To increase YouTube views, you will need a specific strategy to help the search engines find your spot.

Put annotations in your video. Annotations are those annoying little boxes that pop up in the video after you start watching. You will first need to log in to your YouTube account and go to the "account manager" section. On this page you will see a list of your videos. Hit the edit button on the video that you are working with. At the top of the screen, you will see the button "annotations." You will want to click that button. On the next screen, hit the "add annotation" button. This will give you a variety of choices. Pick one. At this point you will have a box that you can enter your text. Always start with your keyword phrase. After that, you can type in whatever you want the viewer to learn about. You will also have the option of picking the time within the video you want the annotation to start and stop. Hit the "publish" button, and you're done.

Putting your keyword in the annotation box is just one more way that you can help the search engines pick out your keyword phrase. The more you funnel your video to one keyword, the better your ranking will become.

Increase YouTube Views By Changing The Captions...

In your Account Manager Section, once again, pick the video you want to adjust. To help increase YouTube views, another great strategy is to change the caption settings. YouTube will put together a written narrative of your video and put the text in their transcript file. Quite frankly, they do a terrible job with this. Once you're on the page of your selected video, go to the top of the page and hit "captions." You can either write the transcript on your home computer and upload the file to YouTube, or you can just enter the text on the YouTube website. In the Account Manager Section, under the advanced settings tab (which is right underneath your video), you have the option of allowing people to leave a video in your comment section. Make sure the "allow video responses" box is checked. If you start to get a lot of views, people will want to tag on to your success. One of the strategies to promote getting views is putting your video in other comment boxes. I suggest that you allow people to do the same on your videos.This will potentially get you more views and additional people out promoting your site.
